Transforming Lives – Mile by Mile, Drop by Drop

Access to clean water transforms lives, creates opportunities and lays foundations to a brighter future.

B+H were pleased to support a group of local cyclists who undertook a sponsored cycle ride from Paris, France to Wokingham, England, a cycling distance of around 200 miles. This year they raised money for the charity Drop4Drop, raising £3000 in order to fund the digging of 2 fresh water wells in India providing over 1000 people with clean water for years to come.

Clean water not only helps prevent illness, but it can also have huge knock on effects. It can cut down on the amount of time people have to spend walking to get water, which is time that children could spend learning or mothers could spend working to earn an income to send their children to school and provide food.

Along with sponsorship B+H and SFL also supplied the team with racing shirts, providing further opportunities to raise awareness along the long journey.
